【Important】Course Registration Announcement
Department of Statistics – Add Course Procedures
Academic Year 2025–2026, Semester 2
For the second semester of Academic Year 2025–2026, the course add procedures of the Department of Statistics are as follows:
I. Online Add Registration Period
Registration Period:
February 25 (Tuesday) 8:30 AM – March 3 (Tuesday) 1:00 PM
- This is the Third-Stage Online Course Add Registration Period. All add requests must be completed through the official course registration system.
- Paper add forms will NOT be accepted under any circumstances.
- Late registrations will NOT be processed after the system closes.
II. Review and Approval Policy
After completing online registration:

If the instructor has specified additional add requirements (see course system announcements), students must strictly comply with the instructor’s instructions. Requests that fail to meet the stated requirements will not be reviewed.

For courses without special instructor requirements, approvals will be granted based on classroom capacity and available seats, according to the following priority order:

- Students of the Department of Statistics (senior students prioritized).
Students pursuing a double major or minor in Statistics will be regarded as departmental students only when enrolling in officially listed double major/minor courses. - Students from other departments for whom the course is a required course in their home department (senior students prioritized).
- fourth-year or above graduating students from other departments for whom the course is not a required course.
- Other students from outside the department (based on registration order or instructor discretion).
- Students of the Department of Statistics (senior students prioritized).
- All add requests will be reviewed online by instructors or teaching assistants between February 25 and March 3.
- If a request cannot be processed within this period, it will be handled during the Special Add/Drop Period.
- Students are responsible for checking the course registration system to confirm whether their add request has been approved.
No separate notification will be sent.
